U2 Participate Festival On Glastonbury 2011
According to reports, all of the 137,500 tickets for the Glastonbury Festival, which takes place next June, sold out within four hours on Sunday. Gigwise has been inundated with comments from fans who were both successful and unsuccessful in their bid to get tickets to the festival.

U2 have rescheduled for June 2011 US dates they cancelled after Bono injured his back, causing the band to pull out of this year's festival.
They play Anaheim, CA, on June 18, but then have a few days' break before they play East Lansing, MI, on June 26. U2 have dropped a hint that they will play Glastonbury 2011.

A story on the band's official website, U2.com, on Friday (October 1) advised fans to buy tickets to the festival, and also featured a quote from manager Paul McGuinness, who said: "We're certainly excited about our plans for next year. Watch this space!"
